Hi Ladies!!
I wanted to let you know what has happened with Dress To Go since I introduced you to the product with the pre-sale a few months ago. Thank you so much to those who participated!
The pattern maker company produced those pre-sale dresses. The permanent manufacturing aspect of the dress has been way more difficult than I anticipated. After being accepted as a client, which was a year-long process, Patrick and I visited the plant in March. The factory is amazing, utilizing both robots and manual sewing. We are on the third round of samples for every dress part variation. All have to be meticulously approved before moving on to the next step. This is not a “Made in China” operation. Dress To Go is Made in the USA, with USA technology, employees, and materials.
But the part of the project that has been most daunting for me is the marketing plan. There are professionals for each area: website design, graphics design, Google optimization, social media promotion, and PR. I have taken over sixty hours of classes just to be sure I understand what is going on with all of this!
While we continue onward to get the manufacturing approved, there are four things you can help us with.

- Please go to the website DressToGo.shop, and explore. You can practice designing the dresses, which is a lot of fun! You can’t purchase yet, but soon!!!
You will recognize the Dress To Go profile pictures from the colorful border and paper doll figures. Dress To Go is just getting started on social media, so if you can Like and Share any posts you see on both Facebook and Instagram it would be most helpful!
